I saw this pile of shoes at our back door the other day and wondered,
How many people live in this house?! It is so amazing to have all our kids under one roof again this summer. Joe stayed in Iowa City year-round the last couple of years, so his trips home were more like visits than moving home. This summer, he is graduated and working from home until he moves to St. Louis. What a bonus to have my oldest boy here for a few more months.
The garage is full of dorm and apartment furniture and there won't be room for my car until the boys leave in the fall. The increase in laundry has been staggering, as well as the constant pile of dirty dishes. But the family time we have been able to enjoy is making it all worthwhile!
